Apr\u00e8s douze ann\u00e9ees pass\u00e9es dans une congr\u00e9gation Th\u00e9r\u00e9sienne, il fonde, en 1976, la congr\u00e9gation des Petits Fr\u00e8res de l\u2019Incarnation (PFI), puis quelques ann\u00e9es plus tard, avec Soeur Emmanuelle Victor, celle des Petites Soeurs de l\u2019Incarnation (PSI). Ces communaut\u00e9s religieuses autochtones ha\u00eftiennes s\u2019inspirent de la spiritualit\u00e9 de Charles de Foucauld: alliant pri\u00e8re et action, elles ont choisi d\u2019\u00eatre \u201cpaysans parmi les paysans\u201d, c\u2019est-\u00e0-dire au milieu de la population la plus d\u00e9munie et rejet\u00e9e du pays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>l\u2019\u00e9ducation et la sant\u00e9<\/li><li>l\u2019action sociale et juridique<\/li><li>l\u2019acc\u00e8s aux ressources naturelles, leur optimisation et la restauration des \u00e9cosyst\u00e8mes<\/li><li>l\u2019accompagnement et l\u2019encadrement de l\u2019\u00e9conomie rurale<\/li><li>a vie spirituelle<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Les r\u00e9alisations des PFI et PSI montrent au reste du pays qu\u2019il existe des chemins de r\u00e9ussite en Ha\u00efti. Leur action s\u2019est \u00e9tendue du Plateau Central ha\u00eftien au pays entier o\u00f9 ils ont d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 15 fraternit\u00e9s.
